I’ve dragged myself across this road many times before and this time shall be no different. For I know this is only a memory and an ephemeral presence that will drift on.
The searing lights pierce through my mind
Deafening every notion of peace while I set my heart on the past.
Finding yourself immobile and disrupted during the stages of grief. Every familiar voice begging for your difference.
Let this not be forgotten.
Hold onto this caprice.
The reverence of her call will hold true.
The great and shadowed path to reformation only reveals to those in sorrow.
I am not a man of god, but I would invoke, and weep for a chance with you.
When reality drifts between a daydream and a nightmare, the only thing left to imagine is your trust in finality.
Solely and indefinitely.
I straddle relics to my wrist.
A blistering shiver runs throughout.
Though the sun dresses my skin, I’ve never felt so absolute, and yet barren.
Moments like this are yet to feel new.
Trudging into another spout of darkness,
Maybe this one won’t last as long.
I know they are waiting for me to change
But I still feel this presence, swaying through my mind.
I can not change the past but I can endure what’s to come. I shall return to the spaces in which you left this earth. I’ve had enough of this pain. The final season spent in disdain.
I’ve spent long enough trying to understand.
I need and crave the purpose of it all.
Goodbye to all I’ve known.
This place was never safe and never home.
I will go beyond the veiled attempts.
Discovering what is after human sorrow.

Nurez - Sommer

Ein Lichterspiel am Himmelsrand
Ein Rufen aus dem Wald
An jedem Tag ein Vogelsang
Und doch keiner hört den Hall
Das Morgenrot und der Untergang
Im Frühling und im Herbst
Donnerschlag, Sturm und Drang
Dann kommt sie wieder her
Dann kommt sie wieder her
Dann kommt sie wieder her
Ist dann ein Ende in Sicht?
Die Sonne macht ein Ritual
Sie tanzt zum Schlag des Donners
Und uns’re Liebe wird zur Qual
Wenn wir ihr wiederstehen
Die Erde strahlt nur Kälte aus
Aber nicht im Sommer
Ein warmes Leuchten von innen heraus
Wenn wir uns wiedersehen

Exposed to the change
As the leaves fall so does our time
But we remain content, the bonds are constant
Night falls longer, the winds arrive
A cycle to renew, another chance to thrive
Cosmic foreshadowing, paths remain intact
Temporal fluctuation, always we adapt
Conjuring the image to carry forward
The memory sustains into the depths
A revenant reminder of moments passed
And an ongoing solace of now
Lifted by a fragile light, through all strife
Held by a brilliant radiance, entwined in life
Soon to emerge in the ice, pressing the boundary of survival
Hand outstretched past the isolation, comfort is found

“The sky seemed to cry for me,
A dark age lost in grief,
Heaven, force-fled in misery,
And yet disdain spawns release.”
Through swirling snows, a sea of ghosts
Reaching out to me
A searing glow from a hearth of stone
Takes me in
She weaves the end
An arrow of mistletoe
To strike true and make me whole
Again
A journey long since begun leads here
Flickering light from under the door
Icicles as thick as shipyard rope
Bar the windows - a chilled warning
The smell of cloves, incense and fur
Blood, nails and tar
What have I stumbled upon
This wretched place
I fear no sanctuary lies within
The arrow pierces deep
A pain so strangely new
Vulnerable, exquisite, raw
